On December 5th, as part of Advent, we celebrated the peace we have in Christ. We’ve been at war with God since Genesis, but God sent His Son to bring peace through the cross. As we approached Communion, we reflected on the story of a righteous king inviting his enemy to dinner found in 2 Samuel 9:1-13. Please read the Communion outline below for the full story.
