Are you counting down to the Trunk-or-Treat? One more day! Thank you for your faithfulness in prayers. Jesus said if we have faith as a grain of mustard seed, we can move mountains. Nothing is impossible with God. (Matt 17:20) Let’s contiue to pray in faith.
but deliver us from evil:
“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.” (Ps 18:2-3) Lord, Jesus, we take refuge in You today. You are worthy to be praised because You have defeated sin and evil and are resurrected. All things are subjected to the authority of none other but You alone. Even the adversary the devil who is prowling around like a roaring lion (1 Pet 5:8) is powerless before You.
In the world where sin and evil sometimes seem to have an upper hand, our confidence and hope remain in You– “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Ps 27:1). You are our rock, our salvation, and our deliverance. We specifically ask You for a special care and a hedge of protection over the Trunk-or-Treat event and all the attendees. Let us not fear what the enemy might do as we put on of the whole armor of God. (Eph 6:13) We boldly ask in the name of Jesus to thwart any schemes of evil doer, expose all darkness and deceptions, break the chains of sin, and release the spiritually captives in Westford. We earnestly pray for the Light of Christ to brightly shine and for You Spirit to sweep through Westford so many may come to know and believe in You. We call upon You this day and give You all our praises! In the victorious name of Jesus, Amen!
