This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Ps 118:24) Let us wrap up our series of prayer with an exaltatation to the King with Ps 145. Please keep praying continually for the Holy Spirit to breath the new life of Christ in us and to spiritually revive Westford and our region.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations. (Ps 145:1-3, 13)
Let us pray with David through Psalm 145:1-13:
Our glorious God and King, we extol You and bless your name forever. We thank you and praise you for what You have done in us through our time of seeking You together. Your greatness is unsearchable. Your work is glorious, mighty, wonderous and awesome. They speak of your abundant goodness and sing of your righteousness. You are gracious and merciful. You are good to us all, and your mercy is over all that You have made. We commit this day to You unreservedly. We desire You to pour down your Holy Spirit, fulfill your purpose and make your glory known at the Trunk-or-Treat. As families come to visit for fun, let one generation commend your works to another and declare your mighty acts. Let us declare your greatness. Let all your work in your Church and at the Trunk-or-Treat give thanks to You, and your saints bless You! Let your work here today speak of your kingdom and tell of your power. Let the children who come today know your mighty deed and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. May Your name be known and honored in Westford this day. We extol You, for your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations. In the exalted and glorious name of Jesus, Amen!
