Due to the ongoing Covid-19 (Coronavirus) situation, our Elders and Deacons have changed our worship service plan. Until further notice we will be going to a virtual worship service at 10:15am Sundays using Facebook Live. You do not need a Facebook account to access the LiveStream. Just go to our public Facebook Page: Cornerstone Congregational Church – Westford, MA.
We have made this decision at the recommendation of our health and government officials as well as a desire to support and care for the safety of both our Westford community and Cornerstone congregation. We do not see this as a permanent solution but a temporary compromise.
Hebrews 10:25 tells us that gathering together as the body of Christ to encourage one another is vitally important to our church family, so we will return to in-person worship as soon as the Lord allows. Additionally, we are going to leave our doors open Sunday morning for any who need encouragement, prayer, or to worship in person. If that’s you, please maintain appropriate social distancing by avoiding close personal contact and keeping a minimum of 6-feet between you and others present. If you are not feeling well or are immune compromised, we ask that you plan to join us through Facebook. Please see the previous communication for additional safe practices.
When you login to the LiveStream Sunday please say hello! We want to do our best to maintain some form of community during this out of the ordinary time. If this week the Lord lays a brother or sister in Christ or someone from your frontline on your heart, please give them a phone call to check in on them and see how they are doing. This season gives us such an opportunity to show our love for each other and the Lord. We’ve already witnessed this in our church family and it’s so encouraging.
Thank you for your patience with us as we adapt the plan in this ever evolving situation. We love you and care about you.
In Christ, your Cornerstone Elders & Deacons
