Cornerstone will help host a Christmas Party at Living Waters (LW) on Saturday morning, December 19. Here are ways you can help. We need…
10 people to volunteer to help host the Christmas Party on December 19: Plan to meet at LW (10 Kirk Street, Lowell) ~7:45am. Decorate tables, make hot cocoa, help with breakfast (the regular LW volunteers will prepare breakfast). Serve hot cocoa and chat outside those waiting, help serve breakfast, host tables – take care of guests, make them feel at home. Encourage them to share and/or write down prayer requests (note paper and pens on tables). Clean up. Other ideas? Musicians wanted to play Christmas music! Masks and social distancing to be enforced. Covid risk level: Moderate
100 notes written: LW will hand out presents. Cornerstone will provide hand written notes to include with the presents. Would you like to brighten someone’s day? Whether or not you can join us, consider writing some notes which will be included with the presents. Diane at LW asked to make the notes “generic” (not Christmas-y) so that they can use them in the future if they have extras. Please consider doing in packs of 5 or 10. Notes can be mailed to or dropped off at the Penders (48 S. Chelmsford Road, Westford, 01886). Covid risk level: Nice and low
4 people praying: How wonderful it would be to have prayer covering every aspect of our morning, and the LW ministry. If you can’t come, this is a great way to play a major role that morning. Covid risk level: pretty close to nada.
36 care bags packed: Cornerstone Youth will be packing care bags on Sunday December 13 after church, for LW to hand out as a part of their regular ministry. You can help by signing up to buy some of the items we will be packing. Items can be dropped off at the Penders (address above) or brought to church this coming Sunday. Covid risk level: we’ll call it a small.
Cornerstone Youth will be packing care bags for Living Waters Center of Hope after church on December 13, in the church parking lot (rain/snow date is December 20). Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. We are looking to pack 36- 1 gallon ziplock bags. Some items are listed as 2 separate sign-ups… feel free to sign up for both if you’d like!
