COVID-19 Update (4/1/2023)
As we move into the warmer months, we are seeing less respiratory illness in the state and our community. We continue to ask members and attenders to be considerate of others, take care of themselves, if necessary, stay home, and join services virtually. Please feel free to wear face masks when appropriate. We look forward to worshipping together in good health!
COVID-19 Update (wearing a mask is recommended – 10/1/2022)
Our Cornerstone congregation has had a few members test positive for COVID-19 this week. Current CDC guidelines require that a person testing positive consider the day of the test as day 0 and then to isolate for the next 5 days. As long as they are fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication and their symptoms are improving, they may come out of isolation on day 6 but should wear a mask when around others through day…
COVID-19 Update (feel free to wear a mask if you feel it’s appropriate)
As COVID-19 cases decrease throughout the Commonwealth and the local areas, the Deacons appreciate the efforts of attenders to keep themselves and others safe. At this time, we encourage people to feel free to wear a mask if they feel it appropriate to do so and we recommend that folks stay home if they are not feeling well. We will continue to monitor the CDC and other public health guidelines and will make recommendations accordingly. We look forward to seeing your full-face smiles!…

Jan 6th Announcement – Worshipping Online Because of Heating System Replacement
Hi Church & Visitors, In response to noting a faint gas smell in the church this past Sunday (Jan 3rd, 2021), it has been determined that the Cornerstone heating systems need replacement. As we work toward accomplishing this and keeping our congregation safe, the church building will not be able to be used. We will revert to the online format that we used in the early months of the COVID-19 outbreak starting this Sunday, January 10th. We welcome…
We’re continuing our outdoor worship services (weather permitting)!
Our recent Sunday services outside have been such a success we’re going to continue worshipping outside until the weather gets too cold. If it’s raining, snowing, or less than 50 degrees, we will update our church website (CornerstoneWestford.com), our Facebook Page, and send out a church-wide email by 8:30am Sunday. If that is the case, we will move our service into the sanctuary, where seating capacity is limited. Until then, please continue to follow these guidelines: Please park in the upper…

May 20th, 2020 – Our current thoughts on re-starting our weekly worship service
Dear Church, You may have heard that on Monday, May 18th, Governor Baker announced the limited reopening of churches who abide by the Places of Worship guidelines. Our Elders and Deacons met Monday evening to discuss plans for returning to gathered worship. While we are eager to see each other in person, we do not want to rush back in and risk spreading sickness among ourselves. For that reason we have decided to wait at least until June to have…
