Our Story
The story of Cornerstone began over a hundred years ago. In 1893, two churches, First Baptist and Calvary Baptist, started a Sunday School program as an outreach ministry to the Lowell community. Immanuel Baptist Church was officially founded at 53 Blossom Street in 1896. In 1970, that church moved to Billerica Rd (Ma-129) in Chelmsford. Historic Westford Church Building
On March 7th, 2001 the roof of Westford Bible Church’s building collapsed due to significant snowfall. Here are some pictures of the demolition and reconstruction. Through this process God gave Westford Bible Church, and eventually Cornerstone Congregational Church, a brand new building.
Church Plant Collaboration
How many existing churches does it take to bring about a new church plant?
